What's in the platform

Deployment and GitOps

Each cluster is configured from a Git repository. Argo CD applies what is in Git and keeps the cluster in line with it, so a change to a running environment is a commit that can be reviewed and reverted.

Argo CD

Project: Argo CD · License: Apache License 2.0

Argo CD deploys applications from Git. Each cluster watches a Git repository of manifests, applies changes as they are merged, and puts back anything changed in the cluster by hand.

GlueOps Pull Request Bot

Project: GlueOps Pull Request Bot (GlueOps open source) · License: Apache License 2.0

When a pull request's preview environment is running, the Pull Request Bot comments on the pull request. The comment lists the deployed commit, links to the application in Argo CD, its metrics in Grafana and its logs, and shows a QR code for each preview URL.

GitHub integration

Project: GitHub

The platform connects to your GitHub organization through a GitHub App, which gives Argo CD read access to your deployment repositories and lets the platform comment on pull requests. An optional second GitHub App lets the GitHub Actions in your application repositories update the image tags in your deployment repository as you ship new versions.

Cluster homepage

Project: Cluster information page (GlueOps open source) · License: Apache License 2.0

Each cluster has a homepage behind the platform's single sign-on. It links to the cluster's deployment, observability, secrets and load balancer dashboards, lists the cluster's domains, provides a kubeconfig for command-line access, and shows how to reach GlueOps support and documentation.

GlueOps's own code is released under the Apache License 2.0. Each upstream project keeps its own license, shown in its section. Project names and logos belong to their owners and are shown only to identify each project. Their use does not mean that any project endorses GlueOps.
