Platform
What's in the platform
Every GlueOps cluster runs the same set of open-source projects. GlueOps maintains, upgrades and operates them for you.
Explore the platform components and open-source projects we've integrated below.
Deployment and GitOps
Applications are deployed from Git with Argo CD. Pull requests get preview environments, and every cluster has a homepage that links to its tools.
Observability
Metrics, logs, dashboards and alerting for the cluster, the platform and your applications, with the option to forward logs to a provider you already use.
Secrets and access
An encrypted secret store in every cluster, delivery of secrets to applications, and single sign-on to the platform with GitHub accounts.
Networking and certificates
Ingress routing, automatic TLS certificates, DNS records managed automatically, and pod networking with network policy.
Scaling and right-sizing
Event-driven autoscaling, resource recommendations based on measured use, and rebalancing of pods that no longer fit their placement rules.
Platform backup and restore
The platform's secrets and TLS certificates are backed up every 10 minutes and restored automatically when a cluster is rebuilt.
Portability
The whole platform runs and behaves the same on any provider that supplies compute and networking, on bare metal or on virtual machines.
GlueOps's own code is released under the Apache License 2.0. Each upstream project keeps its own license, shown in its section. Project names and logos belong to their owners and are shown only to identify each project. Their use does not mean that any project endorses GlueOps.
